Roma legend Sebino Nela spent some words on Leonardo Spinazzola whose recent return to the pitch resulted in two excellent performances which contributed to Roma’s advancing to the next round of Europa League playoffs.
“I’ve always talked about this player saying that he could be the main turning point of this team,” Nela told Il Messaggero.
“Without him, you are missing something. He is able to give the attackers the opportunity to continuously attack the goal, making important runs into the opponent’s penalty box.”
“He can become Roma’s player of the season. And by this I mean that he can be able to help the team reach a place in the Champions League. He has technique, personality and as soon as he can he immediately tries going one on one. If he can stay healthy, he’s going to be a difference-maker for this team.”
