Former Roma fullback Sebino Nela, who is currently a director with the Giallorossi women’s side, spoke to Centro Suono Sport today and revealed that the club were offered the chance to sign startlet Erling Haaland. However, Ramon Monchi, the sporting director during that time, rejected the chance to sign the Norweigan.
“Two years ago a former Roma player proposed Haaland to Monchi: his cost was €4 million,” he revealed.
“However, the club rejected the chance to sign him and he went to Salzburg”.
