Sergiño Dest returns on Roma’s radar

Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Sergiño Dest has once again returned on Roma’s radar after several rumors linked the young full-back with a move to the capital in the summer of 2021.

The Italian newspaper claims that Roma will evaluate incoming offers for either Rick Karsdorp and Matías Viña, especially given Spinazzola’s imminent return, and could consider Dest a fitting replacement.

The reported price-tag of €20 million does not seem to be a problem for the capital club, who will also want to monetize off the sales of Alessandro Florenzi and Justin Kluivert, both currently out on loan.

It remains to be seen whether Dest would be willing to move on from Barcelona, especially since he has recently found his footing under new manager in charge Xavi.

The player is also drawing interest from Monaco and Ajax.
