Portuguese midfielder Sergio Oliveira did not make the trip to La Spezia on Saturday due to an injury he picked up in training a week ago.
However, the 29-year-old is determined to be at Mourinho’s disposal for the big showdown against Atalanta on March 5th, reports Il Tempo.
The veteran has increased the work-load over these last two days in order to return to group training by the end of the week.
It remains to be seen whether the Special One would choose to start Oliveira or have him come off the bench given Bryan Cristante’s convincing performance vs Spezia.
