Sergio Oliveira could remain at Porto

After all, Sergio Oliveira could remain at Porto next season following his six-month loan spell in the Italian capital, reports Teleradiostereo journalist Flavio Tassotti.

The Portuguese midfielder seemed a step away from leaving Porto once again, but is now linked with a stay and with a guaranteed place as a starter in Sérgio Conceição’s side.

Porto are now planning to off-load Fabio Vieira to Arsenal and Vitinha to PSG. As a result, the Portuguese giants are considering keeping Oliveira due to his veteran status and his international experience.

Earlier reports claimed that Roma were still in touch with Oliveira over a potential return near the end of the summer transfer window, but for the moment the Giallorossi have other priorities on their shopping list.
