Sergio Ramos is one of the few remaining major free agents to have been linked with Jose Mourinho’s Roma.
The Giallorossi were said to be interested in the veteran defender as they continued their search for an additional centreback in the final days of the transfer window.
According to some reports from Italy, Jose Mourinho went as far as personally reaching out to the former Real Madrid captain.
However, Ramos seems to be intentioned to move to Saudi Arabia after all.
Fabrizio Romano claims Al-Ittihad – the team where he could reunite with ex-Real Madrid teammate Karim Benzema – have made a two-year deal to Ramos who is increasingly keen on accepting it.
