After earning a home draw against Roma last weekend, Lecce earned another positive result as they defeated Atalanta this afternoon in Bergamo.

A mistake in the 4th minute by goalkeeper Juan Musso gifted Marco Baroni’s men an early 1-0 lead before Alexis Blin sealed the result late in the second half from a corner kick.

The result keeps Atalanta fifth in the Serie A table on 41 points—level with Roma ahead of their clash against Hellas Verona later this evening.

A win would move the Giallorossi to 44 points and level with Milan, who won their second match in a row yesterday by defeating Monza.
