Sevilla vice-president Jose del Nido Carrasco spoke about the Europa League final in Budapest at the recent Thinking Football Summit.
While attending the event in Portugal, del Nido Carrasco addressed some questions regarding Jose Mourinho and the aftermath of the final in Budapest.
“During the match we experienced great moments of tension. It was a difficult game until the very last moment,” del Nido Carrasco acknowledged.
“We have great respect for Mourinho as a coach, he is one of the most important coaches in the world. We also have respect for Roma, a great club. We had already played other finals. I am no one to judge the behavior of Mourinho or Roma.”
“We have great respect for both of them as an integral part of the world of football,” he added.
