Sevilla join race for Borja Mayoral

Borja Mayoral’s future at Roma remains uncertain in these last few weeks before the January transfer window.

Given the Spaniard’s limited playing time under Jose Mourinho, the player’s agent has been scouting for new destinations already in winter.

According to Estadio Deportivo, Sevilla have joined the race for Borja Mayoral. Former Roma sporting director Ramon Monchi likes Mayoral a lot and has been in contact with his entourage.

At the moment Fiorentina are the likeliest destination for the 24-year-old striker.

However, it remains to be seen whether Mourinho will gift Mayoral more minutes in the coming weeks given Roma’s intense schedule for December.
