Shakespeare: “Mahrez wants a big English club.”

After his team’s friendly against Burton Albion, Leicester manager Craig Shakespeare took a stand on the situation of Riyad Mahrez, who has been heavily linked with a potential move to Roma:

“He wants to play in one of the six big English teams, but if we do not receive a bid from one of these 6 clubs, he will stay here. If the offer comes but is not enough, he will stay. The situation for me at the moment, he made this decision but is our player.”

As reported by The Daily Mail.
