Roma had been listed among the several European clubs interested in Shakhtar Donetsk attacker Mykhaylo Mudryk who has impressed most of the footballing world with his recent display in Shakhtar’s Champions League campaign.
Carlo Nicolini – the Ukrainian side’s executive – spoke about Mudryk’s climbing worth, dismissing most transfer rumors that have linked the 21-year-old star with clubs like Arsenal, Juventus and Barcelona.
“We value Mudryk higher than Manchester United’s Antony, for whom they paid €100 million,” Nicolini told TV Play in an interview with calciomercato.it.
“Together with Mbappe, Leao and Vinicius, he’s the best player in the world in his position,” Nicolini concluded.
