Former Roma and current Shanghai Shenhua attacker, Stephen El Shaarawy, is eyeing a loan move away from the Chinese club this summer.

Gianluca Di Marzio has reported that the 27 year-old and his brother-agent, Manuel, have come to an agreement with Shanghai Shenhua on a loan move to Europe for the former Milan man, who hopes to secure a place in Italy’s squad for the European championship next summer.

The player’s preference is to return to Roma, but the Giallorossi – despite the recent injury to Nicolo Zaniolo – are quite covered in the role.

In recent days, there has also been contact with Arsenal, Atletico Madrid and with PSG, but at the moment, though, there are no advanced negotiations with any club.
