The manager of Sheriff Tiraspol – Roberto Bordin – previewed his thoughts on the upcoming Europa League clash with Roma.
The two teams will meet later this week in Moldova as part of the first match in Group G of this year’s Europa League tournament.
“The start of this competition is a very big deal for us,” said Bordin. “But for us now it is very important to regain our strength for the next match,” he added as Sheriff came out victorious in today’s 5-1 win over Floresti.
“We have to recover. It is clear that Roma is a very strong team, one of the leaders of Italian football. Plus they have a coach who has won everything. It will be very difficult, but we will think about how to be prepared as best possible.”
