Sheriff Tiraspol manager Roberto Bordin addressed the media ahead of tonight’s Europa League fixture with Roma.

“It is the first match of the competition and we are happy to face an important team like Roma,” Bordin told reporters on Wednesday evening.

“We’ll play against one of the top teams who are aiming to win the Europa League. It is a commitment that stimulates us greatly, so we are ready. We prepared very well for this match, so tomorrow we will definitely be ready to face Roma.”

“We have the highest respect for Mourinho and his men,” Bordin added. “This is a great chance to show off and get noticed at a European level, so every challenge on the pitch will be decisive. I’m sure the boys will give their best.”
