Roma’s Europa League opponent – Sheriff Tiraspol – have decided to part ways with coach Roberto Bordin.
Sheriff’s humiliating defeat against Slavia Prague – which saw the Czech side crush the Moldovans 6-0 – cost Bordin his job.
As announced by Sheriff on Saturday, Bordin has been sacked with immediate effect and will be replaced by Victor Mihailov who will be acting as interim manager for an indefinite period of time.
