Roma sporting director Gianluca Petrachi has made a shock move for Arsenal midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Both Sky Sport and Il Tempo report that the former Borussia Dortmund man is joining Roma ahead of the closing of the transfer window in Serie A. The midfielder is set to join the Giallorossi on loan with an option to buy and is a rather surprising move for Roma given the number of options Paulo Fonseca has. Nonetheless, Roma will welcome another reinforcement before the transfer deadline.
