Shomurodov arrives for Roma medical

RomaPress – Uzbekistan international Elder Shomurodov landed in the Italian capital this morning to complete his move to Roma.

The attacker arrived at Fiumicino airport on a direct flight from Genova just after 8.00 CET. He was immediately ushered to Villa Stuart hospital to begin the medical examination process.

Shomurodov is joining the club on loan with an obligation to buy, a deal that will cost the capital club a total of €20 million.

The Giallorossi and Genoa struck a deal for the 26 year-old late Wednesday after German Tkachenko, the agent of the player, met extensively with Roma executive Tiago Pinto.

Shomurodov will fly to Portugal early tomorrow to join up with his new teammates as the team continues its preseason.
