Shomurodov, Cristante and Veretout likely to feature for first time in friendly vs Real Betis

Roma’s preseason in Portugal has come to an end with the club publicly thanking the host country on its social media platforms.

The team flew into Sevilla earlier the other day in order to dispute their last friendly against Real Betis this evening.

According to Il Corriere Della Sera tonight we may see the likes of Cristante – who returned from holiday earlier this week – and Veretout – who’s been sidelined with a muscular injury for the past few weeks – play their first minutes for Roma this season.

In addition to this, the newly arrived Eldor Shomurodov may also feature in tonight’s game.

The 26-year-old Uzbek has reportedly integrated very well with the rest of the team and may get a chance to wear the Giallorossi kit for the first time tonight.
