Shomurodov gets ready to start vs Juve

Unless a miracle occurs within the next 48 hours, it is highly unlikely that we will see Tammy Abraham start against Juventus on Sunday night.

The English attacker, according to Alessandro Austini of Il Tempo, is still dealing with a considerable amount of pain on his ankle.

The player is undergoing heavy rehab and Roma are pushing to have him at least available off the bench for Sunday’s big game.

In the meantime, Jose Mourinho is ready to start Tammy’s substitute, Eldor Shomurodov, fresh off international duty with Uzbekistan.

The ex-Genoa man is looking to start his first match of the Serie A campaign as the leading forward. So far, the only league game he started was vs Hellas Verona as a winger.
