Eldor Shomurodov was Roma’s hero of the night on Thursday as he scored a last second winner against Athletic Bilbao.
After the important victory in the first leg of the Europa League Round of 16, Shomurodov spoke to Roma TV about the magical night.
“I am very excited,” he said at full-time. “To score a goal at the death and see the Olimpico go crazy is special.”
“Now we have to stay calm and prepare for the next matches and think about those.”
“The coach always says to play until the final whistle and give everything. We continue to do this and in the game these things pay off.”
