Shomurodov’s agent reprimands Roma for late January switch to Spezia

Andy Mattioli

Eldor Shomurodov’s recent loan switch to Spezia until the end of the season came after several attempts to move away from the Italian capital after having steadily fallen in Jose Mourinho’s pecking order.

His agent, German Tkachenko, reprimanded the club in a recent interview with CalcioNapoli24, calling them out for refusing numerous offers from Italy and abroad.

“There were already offers for Eldor this past summer, but Roma have never been sensitive to certain offers, we expected to be treated differently by the club.”

“Finally we got fed up with our situation in January and made a decision to leave, there were many offers in Italy, Spain, Germany and England. We chose Spezia for the right values. I don’t know if he will play immediately against Napoli on Sunday, physically he is ready to make a contribution.”

“Let’s see in the summer what his future will be, we will deal with everything in the right time frame. Now he wants to play as much as possible.”
