Roma’s opponent in round of two of Serie A, Cremonese, is one of the several clubs interested in acquiring young attacker Felix Afena-Gyan before the transfer window closes in less than ten days.
The 19 year-old Ghanaian international has been linked with a potential transfer exit throughout the summer with the Giallorossi eager to acquire free agent striker Andrea Belotti.
Simone Giacchetta, Cremonese’s sporting director, revealed he’ll meet with Roma tomorrow evening after the two sides meet in league play at the Stadio Olimpico.
“I’ve read a lot of rumors in the newspapers,” he told LaRoma24.
“But we’ll talk with Roma tomorrow after the match about the player.”
The Giallorossi are rushing to finalise a sale for Felix or Eldor Shomurodov to make room for Belotti, who they already have a contract agreement in place with.
