Current Bologna manager and former Roma, Lazio and Sampdoria left back Siniša Mihajlović released his autobiography, “La Partita della Vita”, earlier this week — where he discussed everything from his footballing career to his recent bout with Leukemia.
In the book, the Serbian also revealed his opinion of former teammate, Roma legend Francesco Totti.
“Baggio, Del Piero, Mancini, Zola…Totti was more complete than any of them,” wrote Mihajlović.
“He scored 250 goals and over 1000 assists. Looking at who won the Ballon d’Or, it’s striking to me that it wasn’t awarded to him.”
“When he had problems with Roma at the time of Carlos Bianchi, I wanted to bring him to Sampdoria. When he was about to retire as a footballer, I suggested that he should join me in Torino to be my vice-manager.“
”I’ve never seen an assist man with a touch like him before.”
