Skorupski: “I want to play regularly.”

Roma goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski was interviewed by Polish outlet Sportowefakty and also talked about his future. These are his words:

“There are no excuses, because I need to play. I’m impatient because I’m not playing, but thank goodness for my wife, Matilda, who helps me a lot at home and soon I’ll be a father as she’s nine months pregnant.”

Your future.
I have different ambitions and in the coming months my situation has to change. I have to admit one thing, though: I do not think I wasted time. Roma goalkeepers coach, Marco Savorani, is very, very good. I have not played, but I’m better than I was twelve months ago. I’m certain of it. In Rome, I have been second choice while the first is Alisson, who is one of the strongest in the world. We’ll see what will happen, but again: I have to play. At the end of the season, I will speak with the directors and my agent and I will tell them again that I want to play regularly, regardless of where I am. Monchi knows this, we meet regularly, and he’s told me that Alisson isn’t likely to leave and that he is very strong — I understand him, it’s true, but I can’t continue like this.
