Sky Sport journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has released an update on the transfer market of Roma on his official website.

Reportedly, Roma have set their sights on highly rated Bologna midfielder Amadou Diawara as the Giallorossi’s Walter Sabatini has met with Bologna for the player. Sabatini wants to bring Diawara to the capital regardless of his questionable future with the club.

Meanwhile, Chelsea continue to pursue Radja Nainggolan. The Belgian is, reportedly, a top target of Antonio Conte, who wants to bring the player to London. Talks between the sides continue as the Blues want to find a deal with Roma. However, Chelsea have budgeted only €30 million for the signing of Nainggolan, a sum that is too low for Roma. It’s possible that Chelsea could add bonuses to the deal to try to appease the Giallorossi, but it won’t be easy. Talks continue as Chelsea try for Nainggolan.
