Sky Sport journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has released an update on the market of Rome.
With the injury to Rüdiger, the plans of Roma have changed. The interest of Chelsea has now faded and the German could remain at Roma. The Giallorossi now could close the deal for Martin Caceres, with whom they’ve been in talks with for months.
Roma have agreed to a deal, as previously reported by SportItalia with Empoli for Mario Rui on the basis of a loan for €3 million with an obligation to buy at €6 million. Roma have also inquired about Udinese right-back Widmer, whom Udinese have slapped a €8-€10 million price tag on.
