Roma are pursuing out-of-favour PSG midfielder and Dutch international Georginio Wijnaldum in order to reinforce Mourinho’s midfield for the upcoming campaign, confirms Sky Sport.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Roma are indeed interested in Wijnaldum.
The player is being forced out of Paris Saint-Germain and has been proposed to several European clubs. Roma are currently the team to have expressed the most interest in the ex-Liverpool man.
Di Marzio reports that the Giallorossi have yet to open talks with Paris Saint-Germain who insist on making Wijnaldum’s exit permanent.
Roma want to make the best of Dan Friedkin’s excellent relationship with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
