Roma are being linked with former Giallorossi midfielder Leandro Paredes as the Argentine international is one of the profiles the capital club are considering to bring in as Wijnaldum’s replacement.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Roma have expressed concrete interest in the out-of-favour PSG midfielder who is looking to move away from Paris in this transfer window.
Paredes is pursued by Juventus who are still deemed favorites to land the 28-year-old despite failing to meet PSG’s demands. The French giants insist on including an obligation to buy in a potential loan deal for Paredes.
Though, Roma are monitoring the situation closely and could soon try to contact the player’s entourage.
