Stefano Pioli is reportedly eager to return to Serie A.
The former Milan coach is one of the many names linked with the managerial vacancy at Roma ahead of next season.
So much so that Sky Sport journalist Angelino Mangiante suggests Pioli is currently leading the race for Roma’s bench.
In an interview with Radio Manà Manà Sport, Mangiante stated, ““For Allegri and Sarri everything is at a standstill, there is no contact between the parties.”
“At this moment I would put Pioli ahead of everyone,” he added, further confirming that Roma have not yet completed their search for Claudio Ranieri’s successor.
