Roma have found their new sporting director in France, and more specifically from Nice.
French executive Florent Ghisolfi – who is currently serving as Nice’s sporting director – will soon become the new person in charge of Roma’s sporting area, informs Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport.
According to Di Marzio it is only a matter of time before Ghisolfi will sign his contract with Roma.
The French director has already informed Nice about his decision – the club are yet to give him their final OK but everything points to the situation being resolved fairly quickly.
Roma’s first candidate for the job – Francois Modesto – declared he did not wish to leave Monza.
Thus, after several conversations with him, Roma turned their attention to Ghisolfi who seems to be considered a great fit for the club’s project.
