Sky Sport: Roma have an agreement for Diawara with Venezia

Venezia have made concrete steps to sign out-of-favor Roma midfielder Amadou Diawara before the end of the January transfer window.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Venezia have found an agreement for the Guinean 24-year-old whereas Valencia – the other team interested in the ex-Napoli player – failed to advance an offer.

Roma have already approved of an eventual transfer of Diawara to Zanetti’s side, but the Giallorossi are yet to hear from the player himself whose favored destination remains Spain.

Diawara is expected to make up his mind in the coming hours and a decision will be communicated to the capital club.
