Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport has released a report today regarding the market of Roma in defense.

Roma met with Gregory Van Der Wiel and his agent today in Rome. The meeting was positive, however, the deal isn’t closed. The sides will be meet one more time before confirming a deal, however, the talks were positive.

Nacho Fernandez of Real Madrid is becoming a possibility to replace the injured Antonio Rüdiger. Roma want Nacho on loan: Real Madrid are mulling it over, they will soon decide the method of the player’s transfer, whether it will be a loan or an outright sale. The track of Juan Jesus has also returned: Roma have followed the player for some time, however, Spartak Moscow are also interested.

Lastly, Roma and Juve are discussing the details of the payment method for Miralem Pjanic. Roma have accepted Pjanic will leave, however, they aren’t willing to offer a discount on the exit clause of the Bosnian: they want the clause paid in full and not installments. Juventus will have to pay €32 million instead of €30.4 million since Pjanic would give up the 15% he is owed in the clause and not 20% if payment is done in one installment.
