Slavia Praha manager Jindrich Trpisovsky expressed his delight with his team’s performance in tonight’s 2-0 win over Roma.
The Czech technician spoke to the media after the match and said, “In the first race we wanted to apply the pressure we had applied today, but due to various factors such as the environment we were unable to do so. Tonight we managed to press the way we wanted to and we started very well in the second half. We could have scored more but we are happy with the result.”
“Tonight’s match was our best performance of the season,” he added. “Sometimes it can happen that a team is lucky against a great team like Roma, but today for us the victory was fully deserved.”
“I’m very happy to have faced Roma, I like the club, it was a wonderful experience for me. I had the honor of speaking with Mourinho and it was the best experience of my life. I really like Mourinho, his way of acting and behaving respectfully. For me he is a football legend, he is the most successful coach.”
“If this coach spared his time to come to me after the match I just have to thank him, I appreciate it very much. I wish Roma the best of luck for Sunday’s derby.”
