Slavia Praha manager Jindřich Trpišovský was complimentary of Roma boss Jose Mourinho before the two meet tomorrow in Europa League group play.
The Czech side currently sits atop Group G on goal difference, but they face their toughest test of the competition thus far when they travel to the Italian capital to battle the Giallorossi on Thursday evening.
“(Jose) Mourinho is a managerial genius,” stated Trpišovský when asked about his feelings on facing the Special One.
“He has had an impact on a lot of clubs and a lot of managers. I will never forget his journey with Inter when they won the Champions League (in 2010) with the team they had.”
Finally, “And the whole world knows his nickname, The Special One. We feel so grateful that we can play against such a team, with such players and with such a manager.”
