Important news at Liverpool ahead of next season. During the press conference ahead of the match against Chelsea, manager Arne Slot discussed the future of Kostas Tsimikas, currently on loan at Roma.
The Dutch manager confirmed that the Greek defender will return to England after his time in the capital, suggesting he could play an important role in the Reds’ new season.
“We need to change a bit because of the two players leaving. One of them (Robertson, ed.) will probably be replaced by Kostas Tsimikas, because he’s returning from his loan.”
Slot’s words therefore seem to clearly outline the future of the Greek full-back, who is set to return to Liverpool’s plans after a less than convincing experience with the Giallorossi.
