After the hard fought three points at the Marassi Stadium, Roma get back to playing the Conference League with a home midweek fixture to Zorya Luhansk.
According to Il Tempo, Jose Mourinho will grant Lorenzo Pellegrini some much needed rest. The Roma captain is expected to start from the bench.
Chris Smalling, on the other hand, could make his first appearance in the Giallorossi’s starting eleven since going down with an injury against Empoli earlier in October.
The English center-back was used as a late minute substitute on Sunday, with Kumbulla coming off due to cramps.
For the midfield against Zorya, Veretout is expected to start alongside either Darboe, Bove or Diawara.
Nicolo Zaniolo is also going to feature from the first minute: the 22-year-old will replace Pellegrini behind the two strikers.
