Defender Chris Smalling and attacker El Shaarawy are back at Jose Mourinho’s disposal as Roma prepare for their league match vs Empoli before the break, reports Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo.
The English defender had been sidelined for the past two weeks and forced to miss Roma’s games against Cagliari and Lecce.
The Italian winger, on the other hand, had felt discomfort before yesterday’s match and was sent to the stands by Mourinho.
Both players returned to group training and should be ready to go for this weekend’s fixture.
