Roma are at risk of being without another important piece for Sunday’s match against Sassuolo. Chris Smalling tweaked a muscle in training yesterday and was unable to participate with the group.
The Englishman was forced to train on his own today and is now in doubt for this weekend’s match at the Olimpico. Roma boss Paulo Fonseca will speak tomorrow ahead of the match but it’s likely Smalling will join the likes of Cengiz Ünder, Diego Perotti, and Davide Zappacosta on the sidelines.
