Smalling, Kumbulla expected to start vs Zorya Luhansk

Andy Mattioli
Chris Smalling of AS Roma

In tonight’s Conference League match against Zorya Luhansk, Mourinho is likely to make several changes to the starting line-up.

While Veretout and Karsdorp have been left behind in the Italian capital to rest, Matías Viña and Henrikh Mkhitaryan – who also underwent individual training – joined the rest of the team and will be on the bench tonight.

According to Il Tempo, Chris Smalling and Marash Kumbulla are expected to start in the defense, along with Roger Ibanez slotting in as a right-back and Riccardo Calafiori on the left.

Moreover, Diawara and Villar could once again feature from the start. Up front, Carles Perez and El Shaarawy will replace Zaniolo and Mkhitaryan.

Tammy Abraham will rest with Eldor Shomurodov leading the attack.
