Smalling, Kumbulla miss out on first leg Europa League clash against Braga

Roma manager Paulo Fonseca released his list of call-ups for tomorrow’s Europa League tie against Braga in Portugal.

The Giallorossi will be left short-handed in defence as central defender duo Marash Kumbulla and Chris Smalling will not be available. The Albanian international suffered a minor muscle tweak in the final training sessions before Roma’s league tie against Udinese on Friday while the Englishman is still recovering from a thigh strain that he suffered during the victory over Hellas Verona.

Manager Paulo Fonseca will likely be forced to re-use the same central defender trio as he did on Sunday against Udinese, which consisted of Gianluca Mancini, Bryan Cristante, and Roger Ibañez.

The full list of call-ups for tomorrow’s affair includes:

Goalkeepers: Pau Lopez, Mirante, Fuzato

Defenders: Ibañez, Mancini, Peres, Spinazzola, Karsdorp

Midfielders: Cristante, Pellegrini, Veretout, Diawara, Villar

Attackers: Mkhitaryan, Pedro, Mayoral, Perez, El Shaarawy, Dzeko
