Smalling, Pellegrini likely to miss out on Wolfsberger clash

More bad news arrived today on the injury front for Roma. Defender Chris Smalling has suffered a knock to his left knee while midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini is having a slight issue with a contusion on his left foot, which will likely keep the pair out of Thursday’s Europa League match against Wolfsberger. The Giallorossi medical staff will evaluate both players over the coming days — it’s possible the Englishman could be out for the remainder of 2019.
