Roma received a big boost ahead of their league showdown tomorrow afternoon in Bergamo against Atalanta.
Central defender Chris Smalling will be available for selection after recovering from the muscular injury he suffered during Monday’s victory against Spezia.
The former Manchester United man was forced-off midway through the second half after pulling up with hamstring discomfort and was replaced by Amadou Diawara.
After training individually for the past three days, Smalling trained normally today with his teammates in their final session before tomorrow’s affair.
Barring any setbacks, he is expected to start alongside Gianluca Mancini and Roger Ibañez in defence for José Mourinho.
