Smalling to arrive in Italy tomorrow to compete Roma move

Chris Smalling is ready to complete his shock move to Roma. The 29 year-old met today with the Red Devils’ hierarchy to complete the last details of his proposed move to the Giallorossi. Sky Sport reports that negotiations for the Englishman started in secret two days ago and were led by intermediaries Tiziano Pasquali and Giulio Meozzi. After long standing negotiations that could have potentially prevented the transfer from happening, the parties decided on a dry loan for a fee of €3 million. The defender will touch down tomorrow in Rome to undergo his medical and complete his move to Italy.
