RomaPress – Roma remain locked in negotiations with Manchester United over defender Chris Smalling.
The Giallorossi have made it clear that the 30 year-old is their main priority for their summer transfer market as they recently tabbed Italian agent, Paolo Busardò, as the new intermediary for the negotiations between the clubs. The talks between the clubs are continuing and are getting closer, but time is still needed.
In the meantime, Smalling will begin preparations with the Red Devils until a deal can be found. The defender arrived at United’s training ground, Carrington, this afternoon to undergo his COVID-19 test ahead of the start of the English side’s preseason.
