Solbakken celebrates debut goal: “I’m very proud.”

Ola Solbakken’s goal right before half-time proved enough to seal the win in tonight’s Serie A affair with Hellas Verona at the Stadio Olimpico.

The Norwegian player – who joined Roma as a free agent in January – sounded ecstatic about having his name on the score sheet.

“I am very happy and proud of the team,” he told DAZN after the match. “We fought for each other for ninety minutes. It wasn’t a perfect game but Verona are a difficult team to face, so our fans will be proud of us tonight.”

“Belotti? It’s easy to play with him, like with the whole team. He always fights for the team, he’s a very strong player. He is an example for me, I have to learn from him. The feeling with my teammates is improving, I think I’m on the right track.”
