The Argentine will have to compete with the likes of Stephan El Shaarawy and Paulo Dybala in Ranieri’s formation, but his chances have increased overnight.
At the same time, Mats Hummels could be rested for the important Coppa Italia tie, given that Gianluca Mancini will be suspended on Wednesday night.
