Boubakary Soumaré is a concrete target for Roma who are seeking an additional midfielder before the end of the summer.
The French player is said to be the Giallorossi’s priority to strengthen the midfield and the capital club have reportedly held talks with the player and his camp with the aim of bringing him to Italy in the coming weeks.
The deal, however, appears to be difficult as Leicester City want to find a permanent solution for Soumaré who is coming off a positive loan at Sevilla and does not fit the Foxes’ long-term plans.
As reported by Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, an important update followed Soumaré met with members of Leicester City’s management.
During this face-to-face meeting, the Frenchman reiterated his desire to join Roma.
The player favors the Giallorossi over Monaco and Lyon, both of whom are interested in him.
