From Spain: Monchi will repurchase Sanabria

Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo has reported that Roma sporting director, Monchi, will exercise the Giallorossi’s option to bring Real Betis striker Antonio Sanabria back to Trigoria.

Roma sold Sanabria in July 2016 for a fee of €7.5 million, with an option to buy the player back for €11 million at the end of two seasons and then for €14.5 million after the third. Roma will reportedly exercise this €11 million option this summer after Sanabria’s excellent start to the season as he has 6 goals in 9 matches. However, it’s possible that the player’s stay will only be temporary, as several clubs in Spain are interested in the player, who could be used as a piece to become another “plusvalenza”.
