Spal striker Andrea Petagna has been heavily linked with a potential January move to Roma, however – before his side’s match again Hellas Verona, he addressed the transfer rumors that have surrounded his name throughout the last two months.
“I’m happy at Spal,” he said to Sky Sport.
“I feel comfortable here and I don’t want to leave. So far, I have scored 6 goals and I want to end the season in double figures. I want to end the season here and help Spal avoid relegation. Then we’ll see about everything in June”.
Spal went on to lose the match against the Venetians as they still sit 19th in the table.
