Former Roma boss Luciano Spalletti, now in charge of Napoli, gave an interview to DAZN following the scoreless draw at the Olimpico in Rome.
“Roma played a great match. Both teams played a very good match, in which they were equal to each other. Both tried to win, maintaining balance and consequently the chances to score were few. These are two strong teams.”
On whether he has any regrets after the game:
“You always have to go and try to tap into these matches and get a feel for them. You have to push hard and create a team spirit and set a correct attitude, because the team deserves it. It deserves to have the will to go on to win.”
On whether he is saddened by the rapport with Roma fans at the Olimpico:
“They were aimed at me, so I said “It’s me. I’m here.” I always think the same way, I have wonderful memories of this stadium and this audience, then everyone can react as they wish.”
